WTF Power lock problem, figure this one out...

Ok so I was driving to my aunts house today and there is a construction zone, 1/2 of the road is paved but you have to drive down a small drop off into the unpaved 2nd lane when switching lanes, well my car didn't clear it... it hit HARD. I got to my aunts house and and took a look underneith my car and I had hit the subframe brace, no big deal, nothign else looked damaged or anything. So I don't think this has anythign to do with the problem but you never know....

SO I lock and my car using the remote, horn beeps cause alarm is armed and I opulled the handle, car was unlocked and horn went off.... so I started messing with stuff. from inside the car niether driver or passenger side door lock switches do anything, wont lock or unlock, no noise, no clicks, absolutely nothing... when I use the remote the drivers door will unlock passenger door will not unlock and neither door will lock from the remote, you can hear what sounds like a relay clicking when you hit the buttons on the remote but nothign happens, car still beeps when you hit it twice (arm the alarm) and the alarm will go off when its set and you open the doors.... any ideas?"

This is for Darkstars....

Shifted......did you check the fuse for your power locks......my wife's car did the same thing, and it was only the fuse. Driver unlock is on one fuse and lock/unlock for all other doors are on another fuse.

Just my $0.02

Ok I had one of the GM guys (My dealership is Buick and VW, I'm a VW guy) print out wiring diagram for the cicuit. there is in fact 2 fuses for the cuircuit, and you were also right that the one is for everythign and the other is just drivers door unlock. I put in a good fuse (it was blown) and it worked, everythign except the passenger door lock/unlock switch. Now that switch never gets used so I don't know how long it has not worked for but considering thats the only thing that doesn't work I'm assuming that one of the wires for that switch has came undone (there are wiring extensions for the lambo doors) and when I bottomed out that hard it was enough to make the wire move a bit and ground out blowning the fuse. So it should be a simple fix but its gonna have to wait, 90 degrees in the sun and humid.... @!#$ that

But anyways Shifted thank you for posting that for me, my computer is @!#$, I'm on my moms right now.

Loudsound thanks for the tip, originally I was thinking it was somethign with the BCM cause its not often curcuits are run like that
