I was just thinking about doing something unqiue later in life when I get more money. I'm gonna buy a 2000 Convertible and switch all the things in it to make it look like a 2005 Cavalier. I'm thinking that the light bar in the back would look good on the convertible.
Lets see what I would need:
hood
lights
front bumper
rear bumper
trunk
rims
steering wheel
What does everyone think? would this look good? anybody interested in a photoshop?
been done ... but it would be cool ... thas my plan for new years if i can find one cheap
looks good, except I would go for the 2000 model it looks better in some ways.
only diff ... between the two is the inside ... and tails
easy mod
its cheaper .... to just get an older one ...
Any one know of any other pics of a converted convertible... newer front and rear ends on an older body
would like to see that..................... ~
well you wouldnt need the trunk unless you wanted to swap to the 03+ spoiler and didnt feel like drilling and filling holes. you can use the tail lights on all 3rd gen cavs just cut off the extra mounts on the tails i did it on my car

I've seen it done before, it does look different, if you're a J-body enthusiast. To anyone else, it's just another Cavalier..
It will probably cost you a bunch of money to do it, and in the end, be worth the same as it was before the swap (if not less).
Unless you're really hooked on the 03-05 appearance... why bother?
Droptoppaul did that with his 98 Sunflower. Now it has the 03-05 Sunflower front end and tails and it looks bad@ss.
