RK Sport's dual action coil overs

Who has these, are they worth 1200? I'm looking for some reviews on these from people that have them. I don't know of anyone who has had them and I'm very curious as to how nice they are, ride quality etc. Any info would be great..

Thanksin advance

The ride is slightly harsh, cause they're very stong coil-overs. They're really made for auto-crossers and people who want the absolute most our of their suspension. So yeah they're worth it to some people. Check out gravana's coilover package too.

i had them for a summer. loved the ride quality. hated the ride height and the dual perch adjustment.. small ass threads sucked too. easily jammed..

I have them right now, the ride is slightly harsher the lower you go. I like em' but for the money i wouldnt buy them again.

Anyone know what the tender spring is supposed to be for anyway?

See right now I'm dropped on 2" sprint springs and I can go about another .25" lower all the way around with out any rubb at all but I don't think it will be worth the 1200 for me I think I'd rather just get the konis but hey it's still worth the research

Agreed...Hear many people who like these setups, very little comments on the RKSport setup.

the ride quality IS NOT harsh, granting you dont run around like some of the LSD;s i;ve seen.

they handle great, only thing i dont like is the lack of adjustability.

also 1200.... new? i;d wait a week or so.... B+G are releasing their new dual height adjustable versions, the same color siliver, to rksport, which should be around the same price...rksport should carry em

also eibach should be releasing their prostreets soon as well. rksport i believe should carry em as well.

thats simply because people are too dull to use the search button these days for a good year, these had the most repetitive posts... people would give feedback for the sleeve kit,but everyone wanted to know about the full kit. it pretty much started to get like the "i want the best intake posts" in performance. no one used their brain.

theres plenty of feedback on em, its just people would rather not take the time to look it up as most other things here

i bought qwik2k2z24"s old set. I like them, like he said the threads suck. The ride height is good for me though I cant go any lower if i wanted too without trashing my kit

haha, man its like youre living my life a year ago

i was riding on sprints, wanted to go lower, and wanted a full setup

so i bought the prostreets used

they are INCREDIBLE compared to my old setup, handle fantasticly, ride is good, mine IS a little harsh, but i have them lowered all the way so its expected, plus im riding on 18s

as said, the threads are a pain for sure, but they give you big forearms when you are cranking those screw things, haha

i say get em, i love them, you will too

i find the ride to be harsh but not as bad as most coilovers, im not impressed with the spring rate

have u attempted anything with the jammed perches?

i know for a fact that the rear threads and perches can be removed completely off the shock just like a sleeve style coilover. mabye contact RK about getting new threads/perches??

Leave the tender spring in place, they do serve a function, and should be just about flat when then car's weight is fully on them.

If you're threads are chewed up, and it's from "normal use", RK should warranty them.

I have the prostreets and they are awesome from a performance perspective (what they are designed for). I haven't had any problems with the threads, just washing them with a towel and water works well to free them up. The ride quality is good and the huge increase in agility over stock was worth the price for me. I may trade up to the Tein SS setup as the damper adjustment would be nice, softer ride for the ladies

Not to mention the pillowball mounts, camber plates and edfc.

If you want a good handling suspension though Prostreets have my vote.

If you got the cash spring for the Tein SS.

You're a nutjob Darkstars has those on Molly. I've ridden in his car a couple times, and it's not too bad. Talk to him I would buy a set for Ashley, but my plans are very airy

threads should be chewed up from normal use....

UNLESS you are adjusting them without cleaning debris from them before adjustment. thats really the only way threads get chewed up.
