Wow i have been waiting to see these and im very impressed.

Ive been pretty happy with my D-specs/Vogtland 1.7 drop springs but would really like to adjust the ride height for alittle more drop and really like the pillowbal mounts front and rear and the camber plates up front.

Anybody want to buy a set of Tokico D-Specs with 1.7 Vogtland drop springs with 2K+ stock mounts?? Only been in since early this year and maybe 15K miles? 1200 shipped and there yours???? LOL

Man i will have to wait alitle while, maybe they will get alittle cheaper, and i can find somebody thats wants to buy my current set up.

Looks well worth the cost though.

For anyone interested, here's the deal on revalving.
No modifications are done to a kit before purchase. After you buy the set, you'd repack your dampers (keeping all the rest of the parts) and send them back in to get revalved to your specs. At about $100 each. New springs are also $100 a pair.
So $1400 for the original set, then another $600 to customize. But, the price is the same no matter which spring or damper rate you choose. So you could realisticly get a kit for our car for about $2000 which matches their Type RA or N1 dampers, which are hardcore race only parts. Overall, that sounds about right. Most of the RA and N1 sets are around $2000 anyway, but they don't make a set for the j-body, so here's a way to cheat, without too much trouble. Before now, the only other way I found to get competition level dampers on our car was to buy Koni inserts (like the 8610's) and then actually disassemble a stock damper to put in the insert.

Yeah, screw Mantapart, I think I'll be hopping on the Tein wagon soon.

I am pretty sure you can send your Koni Yellows back to get made into double adjustables for about the same price.

I will be hopping on the Tein wagon as soon as my current suspension sells

Yeah so someone better buy them.

And you can have Koni Yellows re-built to be double adjustable.

few things....

setup with front and rear addcos

in wet conditions:

try running them even even or really close to each other if you use a softer front with rear.

when its dry, to overcome the natural understeer from all j-bodies, try runnin em atleat 2 harder in the rear than in the front... so for example 16 rear 14 front.

you can go farther, but that 2 apart adjustment seems to be the most neutral.

in wet conditions even or near even helps bring back some of the understeer. maybe its because of the camber in the front, but it keeps the rear sound.

edfc soon.
