I was wondering if anyone would like to meet me at Monkey Wrench Racing on Saturday (9/24/05). I'll be dyno tuning my car and some help adjusting things etc. would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time at a dyno. Anyone want to go?

Location can be found here: http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com

Thank you.

Airtronics: I'm getting the hour for $125, but check their website for all the prices

Skilz I'm glad you're coming, you seem to know what you're talking about.

Thanks, anyone else want to go?

I will be there, probably a lil before noon. I'll also have a video camera to do some recording.

Diesel, that's a long ways for you.... I don't know that anyone is comming from that direction. If you really want to go their address is on the website he posted and you could do a mapquest.

Although I'm not sure there is much dyno time available. I'm hoping to run sometime after Aaron.

S/C eco and Hahn eco Fun times

Airtronics, I'm glad you can make it. This will be fun....I'm a little nervous about getting the car tuned perfect in an hour, but we'll see. Well I gotta go wash my car now but I'll see you guys there. Thanks.

Bah, I have nothing to do. The wife is working and I just woke up. Maybe I'll cruise out as well.

Yeah it was a good time, a lot of nice cars and I want to thank everyone who showed up. J-BOM is a good group of guys. Protomec helped out a lot by using his laptop to monitor knock and he explained to me what the dyno results were saying. He also knew what to change and when to change it. Thanks.

I ended up with about 253 ft lbs of torque and 247whp at 9.5 psi. I had some fuel issues, my AFR was all over the place and the boost level kept changing aswell. Still trying to figure everything out but I'm pretty happy with the numbers considering it was at 9psi. I can post the chart if anyone wants to see it.

Driving home tonight I got a CEL. I'll get it scanned in the morning, car seemed to be running 'ok' even with it on though. My boost gauge was reading about 12 -13 psi later in the night. I don't know if the gauge is messed up or not, but the car felt a lot stronger so it's possible.

Airtronics pulled some good numbers with his supercharged eco, and I couldn't stick around to see skilz, But hopefully they will post their charts.

oh man i feel bad for jeremy, sounds like everyone had to leave. I really wish i could have stayed to see jeremys run, but i was late for work as it.

Those were some really nice numbers Aaron, although your AF was really funky.

John was right about where i thought he would be.

Jeremy what did you get?

I really wished that I could make it. Todd(Protomec) was willing to actually meet up with me at the border, but wasn't able to go because work had a hot job to do and I was asked to come into to work in the morning(considering I just got done a 10hr shift on midnights). Anyway, this saturday coming up, I will try to make it over to the dyno there. If anybody is interested in going to make it another dyno day, just post here.

I forget Jeremys actual numbers but I know he put down more power at 6psi than I did at only 9 psi. I want to say it was around 255 whp or something.

I got my CEL scanned and it's just "Fuel Trim Bank 1 Too Rich." I'd imagine thats from turning up the base fuel pressure so much. I havent decided what to do yet, but I definatley need better fuel management. On the upside, I smoked a beautiful blue BMW M3 today.

Hopefully Jon can post the vids when he gets a chance. I also think someone else was taping too?

you need to get a fuel pressure gauge and see where its currenty at, then we can go from there.

I have a fuel pressure gauge I can use, I'll check the base pressure sometime this week. Should I see what its reading at WOT too?

I'm also going to replace all my pressure/vacuum lines to clean things up a bit and to insure there are no leaks etc.

Todd can you please tell me that website again for the OBD2 laptop interface? Thanks
