Okay, well I'm going to try this since its getting warm and people are bitching about new meets. I'm also trying to start early to people have time to get off.
Opener of sport compact races at Rockfalls Raceway is Sunday April 15th, 2007. I know I'm going forsure. I'll be in my black car. It would be nice to see more than the 2 or 3 other jbodies that are usually there this year.
So how about we set up a meet at the Rock.

Rockfalls is located just outside of Eu Claire, so its a drive for almost everyone which seems fair. Plus you get the chance to race your car if you never have, And meet some new faces.
To race is $40, for time trials and eliminations. You can race for money or a trophy in eliminations also, so you do have a chance to win your money back if you can.
I'm hoping we can get most of the MN-J's, some Iowa people and definetely some wisconsinites. I would really love to meet some of you people.
But keep in mind guys this is one of the busiest days at the Rock, there should be a ton (when I say a ton i mean probably a good 100+cars) of people. But you should expect to still get a good 5-6 runs in if thats what you want to do.
Also if people want to go through with this, we should keep it organized, and pot luck style. everyone bring something (food at the rock is expensive). we can set-up a grill and what not. and just have some good 'ol fun.
So tell me good idea or not.

interesting... but everytime i have a chance to go to the track nothing goes my way.. like now just finished up 5speed swap with nvg-t550 and second gear is not nice, all grindy like
. we'll see tho
Im from Eau Claire so I'm definitly in...as long as my turbo install is done and has a decent tune.

I'm in, along with probably all of my roommates. We regularly go to Rock Falls to race. We are actually moving to Eau Claire this summer, so I'm sure we'll be there alot :-) I'm the only one out of my roomates that has a Cav though. The other guys have a Porsche 924 Turbo, SRT-4, Eclipse GSX, and an '89 Taurus SHO. I am in the process of rebuilding my motor and getting the s/c setup tuned, but once that's done, I'm totally up for a meet so I can break my best time
But yeah, sounds like a good idea. Let's figure out a plan and see who is all going. It would be nice to meet some of you guys!

haha ill be there. Were any of you guys there last october? I just happened to finish 2nd in the consolation races by .0068 seconds because of a bad R/T. My friend with his turbo 3400 won his class easy against an SRT-4

hey dave...long time no see!! I talked to Tony, and the way it sounds a lot of people are interested in meets this summer...I'm thinkin we should start 'em back up! Also, all the WI are def in too. I don't know if any one has checked out the list for the J meet in the dells but
LOOK HERE to see the long ass list that's already grown of interest. (bottom of the page)
seriously, lets get this goin, its been dead the past year!!!!!!!! Also, I know 3 J's here town(poss 4) that's down for ALL MEETS, 2 in the cities area, one in roch, and 2 down around the la cross area(including tony of course).
LET ME KNOW!!! thinkin about even gettin a meet here in winona by the lakes!!

yes i read it...i'm more referrin to tony's though. no one showed up hardly last summer and i want to get that organized too, along w/ a meets in la X and winona area
i would like to go. not 100% sure though. Luke i will get a hold of you soon and maybe i can tag along with you guys.
If people do not want to race, its only $10 to spectate... So please don't hesitate to come we need these meets to keep going.. there is plenty of new members. It would be nice to meet some of them

Hellz yeah. During the summer by the Local McDs and the recruiters office, there si always lots of ricers and wannabe muscle cars out there. I went out there once with the 89 3400 z and no one even walked by me and my friend in his 93 3.1 Turbo. Oh well. we have more torque then they'll ever have.
C'mon guys!!! Lets get some more people on this list. UPS says that my HPTuners will be here on Fri. I'm gonna be bustin my but for this...and it'd be nice to have a bunch of you guys there!!
