Alright, I'm from Fond du Lac and I know Lakeside Park well. We could rent a pavilion for the day for like $30.00 (I will call tommarrow). This would include games and a volleyball and net. This also includes seating and grills. If you guys want to do this let me know and I will rent it. We could all pitch in a couple bucks and make this meet one to remember.

POOR BOY KUSTOMZ: thats a really good idea. i'd be willing to through in like $5. just gotta make sure that enough people come and are willing to chip in a few bucks. why don't you make the call and just see if a pavillion is available for the 20th (since it's a saturday i'm not sure if there will be any available still) and get back to me on that. i had planned on getting up there at least a half an hour early so that way no one shows up and can't find anyone like the last madison meet (Sorry Heather!). i also plan on bringing a cooler with a 12 pack of mountain dew and a 12 pack of pepsi. i'll toss the football in the car too.

UPDATE: All of the shelters at lakeside park are booked for the date of 08-20-05. The grill areas are 10.00 to reserve.. You guys let me know what you want to do. -Justin-

thats what i figured. where are the grill areas located? i just got a map of the park in the mail today and was seeing there's a couple of parking lots we could meet up in. there's a nice sized parking lot on harbor view drive right between north main and park avenue. that looks like the best bet because the other big parking lot (on promen drive in the back of the park kinda by the lighthouse) has three shelters right by it. i'd scan the map they sent me in but it's huge! i'll see if i can get some extra time and replicate it in autocad this weekend.
