sure didnt lol
thanks jmarks, so that answers my ?, might as well just sell the plug and play and just get the parts *sigh lol
Well you have the msd coil adapters right? Then all you need is the msd box. The red boxes in the top picture represent the msd adapters. So you keep the stock icm and plug. Then just run the coil triggers to the right locations on the lsd box and wire in the adapters to the msd box. Run your power and grounds and you are all set...
its that easy...

I wish someone would make an eoctec diagram that is that easy to follow...

Its basically the same. There is a write up on ecotec forum. I have an external coil set up on my eco. You can buy a plug that goes in to the icm for the eco. Once you do that it is basically the same, with different pin locations of coarse. I will see what i can come up with and i will make a diagram for the eco as well.
They make a plug for the ecotec ICM now? Before everyone used the cam sync generator. It basically was a wire wound around one of the plug wires.
Are the coil interface modules really necessary?? I had blaster coils in my 97 and it ran fine w/o the modules but now I am rewiring my car to a 00-01 and I can't find an answer regarding the necessity of them in later models. Anyone know?
