wondering if you guys could post pics of how you got them mounted, trying to figure out what would work out best.

still thinking the drivers side strut tower will be best but just need the cruise bracket to do so

Do you have to make your own bracket? Or is there one on another cavy you can use? Or can you simply put a bolt through the holes in the unit? Also can/should you put a bolt through the side where the harness comes out, it looks like it would make a connection and ground it out. Just wondering, thanks.

i didnt use the cruise mount..i made one for 10 bucks...went to home depot and got an L-bracket and a flat piece of aluminum and put weather strip on the back for padding...used the aluminum to bolt the coils to..then used the L bracket to mount it to the strut tower..looks like this----

Thanks guys, so it is pretty much figure it out on your own kind of thing. And sweetnessGT's last picture answers my other question. You can put a bolt through the hole by the plug wires. Thanks guys.

I used a stainless steel antenna mounting bracket for a CB antenna that the truckers use.
It's mounted to the strut tower with one bolt and integrates nicely to the coils brackets and oem hold downs.
Coil changes are a simple matter if needed.

Not quite done yet...

Still have to get the MSD coils and wires, but this is where it'll all be set up, the wires of course will be cleaned up a lil more.

Here is my writeup on this.
It should be pretty straight forward if you know how to read a diagram.
Good luck with it.
