So I have to bump this thread for my own amusement..
I had an SAFC that I wanted to install in another friend's Cavalier tonight, I had been looking for documentation for the last couple of days.. I happened upon this thread and was like ah yes this is what I was looking for.. then I noticed the author and that I had written this up like 7 years ago...
Anyways, I got a kick out of it
Side note, I don't think I mentioned in the first post which is C1 and C2: C2 is the larger of the two connectors, C1 is the small one ( on this car it was blue, 04 LS Sport MT )
It's easiest if you start with the RPM wire on the second row about mid way, make sure you count from position 1.. that way you can just count from that number since you're working like every other wire and don't have to count from scratch each time. it's also useful if you cut back the loom a ways and remove some of the tape.. gives you more room to work with.

Too bad this wont allow you to tune fuel on our cars. Looking at adjusting timing mainly.
