Well i figured i would make a post and let u guys know.
I ordered my reveco throttle body for my ecotec through ruben off ebay. bolt-on horsepower. i got it for 208 shipped with insurence.. i won the bid last friday night.. he shipped it out monday morning and i had a tracking number monday night.. it shipped out from florida and i live in oregon.. it was in my hands thrusday afternoon. extremely fast shipping.. ruban is a hell of a great guy to deal with. replied quickly to everyone of my emails. very happy with the service.
its a stock TB thats polished very nicely and bored out to 69mm at the top of the tb, then 60mm at the butterfly, then 62mm at the intake manifold.
i am extremely happy with it.. lot better throttle respone.. and it pulls nicely in the upper rpms.. i would recomend it.
Were can I pick up ones of these myself?
Yeah, were can we pick one of these up

yes. engine was louder.. and it didnt add a gay fake turbo hiss like most aftermarket TB's do.
you can email him at bolton_horsepower@yahoo.com
his seller name on ebay is riva22
i used my buddies ebay accout since i dont have one.. heres the link to the auction
ecotec throttle body
i want to get a 62mm for my 2200 how hard is it to install since there are throttle cables and stuff? i put on a throttle body spacer and that wasnt hard but it seems that it would be hard to install a whole new tb.

I am going to send him a 2200 TB and he quoted me @ $135 with new buterfly plate/shipped. nice price and I am glad to hear that the shipping is fast too.
So with his auction I don't need to send him my tb? He just send me a new one?

if it's just a new tb, thats not a bad deal. I might need to look into this.
How much power u think id add say witha Intake, and catback exhaust? For the eco ofcourse

he has 2 different auctions. one for by it now for 194+12 shipping and insurence. thats just buying his outright and keeping your own. he has another one where u buy it for 240 and get a 60 core charger. to it saves u like 20 bucks or so if u send back ur old one.

umm theres a guy on here named paco loco or somethign like that. he got 10whp with a throttle body and intake. it went from like 129whp to 139whp.
I dont have a header.....well i do...but its stock. Do you think it would matter?
Hrm i just re read the FAQ and this post. 69 seems real big if im not planning on running boost correct?
you dont want anything bigger then 62mm unless you have alot of serious mods
usually a TB will be like 69mm opening down to 62mm at the plate and manifold cause the stock manifold opening is 62mm so you dont want bigger then that
So will i see gains with this Throttle Body?
Since before the plate its bored to 69mm and after the plate its bored to 62mm, Is the flow only going to be as good as the actual plate opening 60mm???
I'd imagine it would be better to have a larger than stock plate, like the RSM 62mm. This guy is just boring out each side and letting the plate stock. 03+ are supposedly 59.8mm or close to that.
What do you guys think?
i installed mine last nite along with my rk intake. the two made a very nice gain. the tb does make a slight hissing sound at idle for some weird reason. anyone know why??
I have one too.
Didn't notice any difference in performance tho. Maybe I need to finish the exhaust to get the full effect.

the stock eco TB is 58.7mm and the stock opening is 69mm so all he is doing is boring out the plate area to 60mm and then 62mm at the mani opening.
and i believe the point of having it that design is to help with air volocity

so do you think it is worth buying
roy is correct...the point of all the tapering is to maintain velocity, while the larger opening (plate) builds a gain in hp at the same time. i have had one of the reveco tb's for several months now. im very happy with it. very noticable gain when combined with a good intake.

The stock opening is not 69mm. When comparing the two side by side, the stocker is noticably smaller in diameter at the opening, but not a big difference from the 58.7mm to 60mm in the middle.

i could be wrong then on the stock opening but i will find out for sure tommorrow but yes if you dont intend on going with extensive mods a 60 mm would be just fine and still see a gain i would think im persoanlly going with a 62mm but i also have an intake, fairly aggressive cams and soon header and 2.25 exhaust so i will need it
