Hey guys, i have a weird problem with my car, it started yesterday at a friends house. I went to start my car and my car would crank over then turn off, i cracked it again, it turned off. So i disconnected the battery, 30 min later, i reconnect it and start the car, turns right over. The car sounds normal and i start driving off. Once i get on the highway, i noticed my car not wanting to accelerate. I slam on the gas to get speed, but all my car does is buck for a quick second and then drive normally, no thrust. So, i drive down the road. My car when shifting sounds hard & bucks but shifts at like 22 mph instend of 35. And the second gear changes gear right when i hit 40 instead of 48. I noticed to this morning when trying to go over a hill, i hit the gas all the way, but i find my car slowing down. I have no idea whats wrong. Also, my gas pedal and brakes are hard and stiff. My dad check it over, knowing he has worked on car as a mechanic, and heres a faint knocking sound, sounding like a piston arm not getting enough oil. So, it has been driving like this ever since.
P.S: I just had the engine head rebuilt about three weeks ago due to a failed timing chain. Could they be made to blame for this? Just asking.

My car did this when I had a bad fuel injector...it idled really rough too..might wanna check those out..or see if its throwing any kind of code

thats weird unfourtenly doesnt look like too many people r helping
i wouldnt know much. id def. check to see if its throwing any codes.. check ur spark plugs. ect and possibly ur iat sensor? make sure its even plugs in or not blocked ect..
I'd get it checked out by a trusted mechanic ASAP. Could be something simple... could be something major...
My Shadow I had would slow down when I hit the gas... somehow, my head gasket just went, I blew some kind of seal, and somehow there was a small explosion in my engine that melted my third piston and put a hole in the middle of it. This was about 7 years ago, so I don't remember EVERYTHING...
But I'd get it looked at ASAP... just in case it is something major... but it might be something minor... who knows?
My bro said he had to install two new fuel injectors b\c they had clogged up. He said he showed the same signs but not as apparent. Should i put injector cleaner in my engine like say seaform or something or would that hurt the engine. I am having the car check out by a mechanic right now while i am in school. Thanks for helping.
