i noticed the other day that my back-up lights were out, so i went out and got new bulbs, put em in and still nothing, i checked the continuity on both sets and they are fine, so something is wrong with the wiring i guess??? has this happened to anyone else? could it be something with the gearbox switch? i have a 5spd btw
any help will be appreciated
Check the fuse in the fuse box (interior) ...You may have messed with some wires and to cause the fuse the burn and therefore make you're lights not work...?
Try the back up light switch. Its prob the problem. You should be able to pick one up just about any parts store.
Good luck.

the backup light switch is located on the top of the left end (drivers side) of the transaxle
unplug the electrical connector from the switch
unscrew the switch with a socket........DO NOT USE an open end wrench
installation is reverse of removal......be sure to tighten to 24 ft lbs
Straight from the 95-04 cavalier/sunfire haynes manual
