Guys my car is acting like a POS I'm getting so pist. Ok where do i start well my car has been bogging down on me and at first i thought it was the fuel pump but i took my car to a mechanic and he ran a diagnostic on it and told me it was a sensor so he swaped it and at first it seemed to solve the prob but within 30mins it just shut off on me at a red light. so i went back to the mechanic and he swapped a new sensor in case the one he just put in was still reading wrong i left and my prob continues my car drives fine when i'm driving but when i stop at a light the car shuts off or it ideals really rough... well the sensor changed was the sensor located on the manifold it starts with a T oh and another thing when u change sensor ain't u suppose to reset the computer? because he did no such thing.Please tell me what u think is wrong with my car if u need more info let me know.
Yeah thats what you should do when you change out a sensor or any work that threy a code you should reset the computer on the car.
sounds like you have problem with idle control sensor,
do your rpm bounce at idle?
does it take a while for your rpm to fall when u press clutch in and let go off the gas?
does it some times die when you giving some gas (starting to go)?

yeah but i have a base modle so about the rpm bounce i can only go by sound...when i let off the gas i still here the car giving some riv left in it where is this sensor located...
Does it like suddenly shut off or does it like die down, sputter, then quit.

Both. but i just finshed taking it back to the macanic and he told me that the idle sensor is fine the only sensor that is bad is my exhast sensor but the only thing i've change down there is my muffler could there be something stoping the airflow? i'm really starting to hate this car.

Check two things... 1. See if your fuel pressure regulator line running from the back of the motor is still intact or if the skinny black hose snapped.
2. Could also be your iac or tps. Id personally take both out and clean them then see how the car ran. fairly simple and you dont have to be mechanically inclined to do it.
thanx also my check engine light turns on and off when it wants whats the deal?
since a sensor or so is bad and the car isnt runing right its going to throw a check engine light here and there. fix the problem and rid the light. but before you rid the light id suggest you scan the code to see what code its throwing.
FInd out what code it's throwing, a bad O2 sensor will do many things, but it won't cause the idle to stumble and the car to die. You've got another problem somewhere.

Yeah get the code. Also when the car acts up pay attention to the engine temp. Is it low?
