I am selling my 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier RS Hatchback. It runs and can be used as a daily driver.

Time Owned: 4 Years (~9,000 miles/year)
Repairs (2011): New suspension, brake overhaul.
Repairs (2012): None.
Repairs (2013): Water pump, radiator, heater core, coolant hoses.
Repairs (2014): Alternator.
Repairs (2015): Battery, oil sending unit.

Engine: 2.0 TBI Inline 4
Transmission: Automatic

Previously garage kept by previous owner. No major body rust or dents.

Engine runs strong for its age. Minor tick on upper end engine temp exceeds ~205 F (fan kicks on at 220 F). No lower end knock of any kind.

Running conventional motor oil in engine, kept up with oil changes. Transmission swapped to synthetic oil approximately 3 years ago.

Clear title in my name (no gimmicks!).

Timing is a bit off....was not planning to jump on one until next year....but who knows?


My goal with something like that is to fix it up to cruise with my little guy......and no rust is always a good thing!
